Also if you went to Walgreens last week you should have received a $5 off of $20 purchase coupon that could help make this an even better deal if your before coupon total is more than $20.

I ended up buying 4 because in Florida you can never have too much sunscreen!

Save Money on Toilet Paper at Walgreens in May

The only household paper product we buy is toilet paper. That’s right, no paper towels, napkins, paper plates, etc. But we draw the line at Toilet Paper. There are some things we aren’t willing to do to save money and going without toilet paper is one of them. One of the best deals we have found is Real Soft / Sunny Smile Brand Toilet paper at Walgreens that costs $5 for a 12 pack (Aldi has a comparable deal). This month in the Walgreens May coupon booklet you can save an extra dollar with their dollar off coupon. I have included printable link below if you can’t find the booklet that is usually in the front of the store.

Buy one 12 pack of Real Soft / Sunny Smile Walgreen’s Brand Toilet Paper
-$1 off Sunny Smile bathroom tissue 12 roll from the Walgreens May coupon book or printable
Cost After Coupons- $4 for a 12 pack or .33¢ per roll

You can also buy an 8 roll of Paper Towels for $4 but I don’t buy them so I don’t know how good of a deal that is-

Moneymaker Deal on Sunlight Dish Soap at Publix

We got paid to buy this Sunlight dish soap at Publix today. They were .59 cents each and I used $1 off printable coupons from HERE. The overage went towards the rest of our grocery purchases. I needed to buy dish soap today anyways so I was especially excited to get it for free. I love when you need something and then there is a deal to get it for FREE!

Just in case you were wondering I already used half of one to fill up a soap dispenser before I took the picture.

Physicians Formula Concealer on Sale at CVS for .29¢

There are three different colors of Physicians Formula Concealer on Sale at CVS for .29¢. All Physicians Formula products that normally cost $6 or more are currently on sale for $6 off which makes these .29¢. If you’re lucky you also got the $1 off Physicians Formula product coupon in the 3/10 Smart Source coupon insert which will make these free. I didn’t get the coupon but this is still a great deal even without coupons.

Stocking Up at the Publix Viva Italia Sale 2013

I did three separate shopping trips this week to stock up on a lot of great deals. Every year during the Publix Viva Italia Sale I stock up on canned goods. I wasn’t actually planning on doing much couponing this week but this sale literally saves us money all year long because canned good last forever. See my last years shopping trip HERE. These are some of the lowest prices I see all year and they make it really easy to buy canned items in bulk with B1G1s and extra in store / printable coupons (same coupons, two ways to get them). Safe to say I saved a lot of $ and we just this month have run out of the canned items I bought last year. We were also fortunate enough to have been given $45 in Publix gift cards by family members so I used those to pay for most of these items. I also used one competitor $5 off of $25 purchase Save-A-Lot Coupon for each transaction.

Shopping Trip 1- (The couch isn’t from Publix although I did get a great deal on it lol)

Order Total- $22.44

Saved- $64.60

Out of Pocket Costs- Paid With a Gift Card so ZERO out of pocket

Shopping Trip 2-

Order Total- $30.42

Saved- $98.70

Out of Pocket Costs- Mostly Paid With Gift Cards so only $8.77

Shopping Trip 3-

Order Total- $14.75

Saved- $42.39

Out of Pocket Costs- $14.75

Weekly Total-

Out of Pocket Costs- $23.52

Saved Before Gift Cards- $205.69

Saved Including Gift Cards- $250.69
Now I think we are also ready for the Zombie Apocalypse should it hit within the next couple of months.
