Tom’s of Maine is priced at $3.99 this week with a $3 ECBs back. I am trying to buy more Organic/Natural Products so I wanted to take advantage of this deal. The limit is also 2 per card so I was able to get the toothpaste and deodorant. I bought them in two separate transactions so that I could use the $3 ECBs from the 1st transaction towards the 2nd transaction so my our of pocket cost would be lower. I am actually still using the CVS cash cards I got a couple of weeks ago so this was basically free.
Last week, I earned my first CVS cash card. CVS is promoting these like crazy and they just switched over from using gift cards to cash cards on their spend $30 (before coupons of course) and receive a card deals that they have been doing. So I asked a cashier- what exactly are CVS cash cards? He informed me that they are like gift cards but you can use them on anything that you could spend cash on in the store including prescriptions, stamps and alcohol.
This makes them better than gift cards!
I am still not willing to buy things that I don’t want or need in order to earn one but it does make them a better incentive if I find a deal that I want to do that lines up with a cash card deal.
I am always looking for good deals on Dishwasher Detergent and I was really happy with my quick trip today.

My CVS shopping trip today wasn’t as successful as my Walgreens trip. There were 2 deals I really wanted to do, the nivea and the skinny cow. I was able to do the Nivea deal (we looovee that chapstick) and then I got a raincheck for the Skinny cow. I also received $8.50 ECBs (CVS dollars) for quarterly rewards. I will save the ECBs for next week because I really didn’t need anything else.
