5-30-19 Rockledge Goodwill Outlet Bins Second Trip

I had so much fun during my first trip to the Rockledge Goodwill Outlet that I had to go back! It’s a little over an hour from my house. I ended up with 21 pairs including Gore-Tex, Toms, Nike, New Balance, Lucky Brand, Michael Kors, boc, Brahma, Sorel, Sam Edelman, etc. The shoes were $1.99 a pair and all clothes were $1.49 a pound. I spent about $70 total for everything but most of the clothes I bought for myself and family members. I have already made a profit off of the shoes that have already sold.

Update- 7 pairs of the above shoes have already sold on Poshmark for $20 to $35 a pair each and I am keeping the teal New Balance sneakers and brown strap sandals. I put the golf shoes in my yard sale pile because I only bought them for the shoe inserts and aftermarket shoe beds.

5-10-19 Rockledge Goodwill Outlet Bins First Trip

I’m always excited to try shopping at a new Goodwill Outlet. I’ve found that they vary greatly in how nice or shady they are. This one was especially nice. I spent $18 on everything below. The shoes were $1.99 a pair and not sold at $1.49 per pound like everything else. I only had about an hour but I could tell that it would be worth going back when I had more time to shop. My second trip was amazing and I will add the link here as soon as I post it.

5-5-19 Thrift Finds – Henri Bendel Purse, Lingerie Chest, Baby Uggs, Ariat Boots

I had a great thrift day at the Boys & Girls club thrift shop last week. I don’t shop there often because it’s a little out of my way and the prices can be a little high but I will definitely be making my way over there more often! The above Henri Bendel Purse that I found for $5.99 will probably sell for over $100. It’s my first time finding that brand. I will update this post as these items sell.

I have been looking for a lingerie chest for about 3 years now. This one is in great condition and was $69.

The above baby UGGs were too cute to pass up for $3.99. They do need to be fixed with suede cleaner eventually.

The above Ariat boots were $2.99. I sold a plain pair in bad condition for $30 two hours after listing so I grabbed these right away. I think they will sell for $50-80.

For $1.75 the above Candies backpack is very on trend for the small backpack craze. I sold another one recently with no brand name.

I thin these kids overalls were $2 but I have sold several pairs of overalls recently.

This Lululemon top is only my second time finding it secondhand. It doesn’t have a size tag but I still think it will sell.

I found the above items in a .50 cent bag sale.

I also found some clothes for me for work including the green pants, comfortable suit jacket and purple sweater that I am really happy with. I also love the Trader Joe’s refrigerator bag as those are great to keep in the car. The Rainbow Dash backpack I will sell on Poshmark. The above teal sweater had holes all through it which was a bummer because it was really cute!

Overall, a great day of thrifting. Two thrift shops and lots of great finds!

4-6-19 Neighborhood Garage Sale Finds + One Thrift Shop

My nephew love Lightning McQueen and wanted the above suitcase for $70. I found it at the thrift shop in great shape for $4.

I found these 3 adorable Disney shirts for $1 each. I live by the mouse so it makes sense for me to experiment with selling Disney items. They are everywhere in central Florida.

The above sweaters were $1 or $2 each. I might keep the one in the center for the next women’s march.

The above items were $.50 each. The swimsuit is Victoria’s Secret.

The above Polo shirts were $1 each. B needed new work shirts. For that price I picked up some nice ones for him to try on.

All of the items below were less than $1 each mostly bundled so no exact price. The books are for my nephews. The Star Wars toys are for my office. The tide ToGo pen is for cleaning my thrifted items. I love Tide pens but they are normally really expensive.

I finally found a redline Hot Wheels car. They are very collectible and hard to find. I don’t know if this is a great one or not but I will bring it to someone who does.

The above shorts were $1 and the jeans were .50 cents and $2. I hear that ripped American Eagle jeans sell well so I’m experimenting.

4-5-19 Thrift Finds- 4 Pottery Barn Kids $80 Chairs

I spent $12 at a thrift shop for these 4 Pottery Barn kids chairs. They are perfect for the shabby chic look. They retail for about $80 each usually. I’m not sure how I will price them or where the best place to sell them would be. Any suggestions are welcome.

3-30-19 Yard Sale Finds- Neighborhood Garage Sale in a Farm Community

I randomly ended up at a neighborhood sale in a farm community of half million dollar homes. Each house had 5 acres. I had a lot of great finds and I already listed them for sale on Poshmark.

G was my thrifting buddy for the day and he got very tired. We went to a sale in the neighborhood that was raising money for a cat rescue. They loved G and even sold me this dog bag that he fits in perfectly.

The above Lilly Pulitzer shorts were definitely my $3 find of the day. I listed them the day after I bought them and they already have 12 likers.

Update These shorts ended up having a slight mark on the back. I relisted with the flaw and they sold for $46.

The above ‘suit’ was $1 for both pieces which actually aren’t the same brand.

The shoes and Harley Davidson tops were $1 each.

The above two black bags I am going to use as work bags. They were $1-2 each.

All of the items in the above picture were $3 each or less but most were $2 each.

This box of LEGOs was $1.

I also got some pet supplies for cheap.

3-28-19 Thrift Finds- Nikes and Boots

This is a smaller haul than usual but I’m trying to post these updates more frequently. I mostly take pictures in my garage before I wash the items and clean them either for myself or to sell. However, I also post these pictures for myself so that I can remember where I bought various items and how much I paid. I enjoy posting updates to these posts when items sell. These boots were $2 each and will go on Poshmark unless my mom wants them. She gets first choice!

The above shoes and red target shirt were .50 cents each at a yard sale. The shoes are already listed on Poshmark as I know someone who has had good luck selling knock of Birkenstock style shoes and I’m experimenting. The Target shirt below will go to a relative who works there.

I bought some other clothes. The dress pants were $2.50 and the other items were $2 or less. They were mostly for me and I have already worn some of them to teach this week. I did buy the one plus size shirt to sell.

I was excited to buy these Nike’s for $1. The tops were in excellent shape but the bottoms were dirty so I’m still trying to clean them before I list them on Poshmark.

3-24-19 Thrift Finds- $2 Shoes to Resell

Everything pictured was $2 or less each and most of the items pictured were for resale, especially the shoes. I will try on some of the shirts to see if I like them myself too. I had some good luck finding some Nikes which tend to sell really well. Not all of them were in great condition so I am slowly washing them. These aren’t my best pictures but I am already photographing and listing them on Poshmark. You can see my Poshmark closet HERE.

3-14-19 – Thrift Finds from the Past Couple Months inc. a $14 Dyson and $60 50′ Flat Screen TV

I bought the above Dyson for $14 and it works! We might keep it or sell it.

This post is going to be quite jumbled because I got behind posting these thrift find updates. I also post these for myself to remind me when and how much I paid for what I sell when I sell items for my online selling business. I have been doing really well with my online selling business as I’m spending more time building it up for the summer when I’m off from my full time job.

To save time I will say that most items posted below cost less than $2 each, unless noted.

This 50′ Samsung TV cost $60 with the remote!

I paid $8.99 for these Harley Davidson boots that I hope will sell for a good price on Poshmark.

Each of these BORN shoes cost $1 a pair and are already listed for sale online.

The above highly collectible Roseville pottery was $1.

These shoes were $1 and in worse shape than I thought but I still want to see if they sell online. I am learning to clean up shoes to sell.

This backpack purse was NWT and cost $2.

The brand new pack of tank tops were $2.50 and all other items were $2 or less each.

These dresses were $2 each and I bought them for myself to wear while teaching.

I bought these two sets of towels that include 2 large towels, 2 hand towels and two washcloths each for $3 per set. I kept one and gave one set to my mom.

The shoes were $1 a pair. The swifter was $2 for my mom. You can buy the cloths at Dollar Tree. A new swifter is $15-20 each.

Update- The Adidas shoes on the top left sold for $30 + shipping on Poshmark, the Nike shoes below them sold for $38 + shipping on Poshmark

Shoes $1 a pair.

Clothes were $2 or less each.

This White House Black Market Coat was $2.

These UGGs were $6.99. I probably overpaid for them but I won’t lose money on them. They will sell but not for as much as I hoped.

All items below were $2 or less each. Shoes were $1 a pair.

Update- The above tan, UGG sandals sold for $30 + shipping on Poshmark

I got these True Religion jeans for $1 at a new, very tiny thrift shop.

1-19-19 – Austin Bins Trip

Updates- The black Sam Edelman riding boots (top center) sold for $50 + shipping on Poshmark

The black Ariat boots (top right) sold for $35 + shipping on Poshmark

I visited my sister in Austin, Tx and we both love going to the Goodwill Outlet bins and I bought home some of my finds. They all cost $1.49 per pound or less because they charged us $14 for a whole cart. I didn’t have to pay to bring anything home because on the plane because we used the free bags that came with our tickets on Jet Blue airline.

– The tan Birkenstocks next to them sold for $50 + shipping on Poshmark.
