6/20/15 Free Pain Relief and Meta Health Bars at CVS

2015-06-20 14.52.09

I unexpectedly had to run into CVS yesterday because my entire body was covered in hives! It was horrible but the nurse at the minute clinic was able to help me a lot! While I was waiting for my appointment I went ahead and printed the coupons from the CVS coupon printer. I received a $2 off pain relief coupon (above) which made the trial size CVS pain relief free!

I also received a coupon for free Meta Health Bars, 6 count, $8.49. My store was out of them but told me they will still be honoring the coupon because they ran out.

CVS Thanksgiving / Black Friday Sale! Spent- $20.12 and Saved- $114.43

image

My haul from the CVS Thanksgiving sale last night! Probably my favorite shopping trip of the year! This is my Black Friday shopping. Here is the breakdown-

Spent- $20.12

Saved- $114.43

Number of CVS cards- 2

Number of Transactions- 12

ECBs (CVS store dollars) Left Over- $5

This sounds like a lot until you know that we were the only ones in the store and they allowed my sister and I to use our boyfriend’s cards to do more deals. They had tons of stuff so we weren’t clearing any shelves. I had $8 ECBs  left on one card so I used it to pick up some mostly free groceries or I would have had $13 ECBs left. There are close ups of my haul below below.

AND this required very, very few coupons. We only used about 2 newspaper coupons and 2 CVS printer coupons per transaction so most of these deals don’t require coupons!

If you want to see these deal match ups you can view the CVS Ad at CVS.com here or the coupon match ups at SouthernSavers.com here.

Here is one additional deal I didn’t see elsewhere-

CVS Multi-pack Toothbrushes $2.99
– Use $1 off CVS Toothbrushes coupon from the CVS coupon printer
– Receive $2 ECBs
Price after coupon and ECBs- FREE!

11-12-13 CVS Shopping Trip

imageThis week at CVS I spent $8.34 and saved $38.71 and I bought a lot of things we were out of. I save the most by rolling my ECBs (CVS store dollars) by buying something, getting the ECBs, and using them to pay for the next transaction. The Mountain Dew is extra caffeine to get us through finals week. I did 3 transactions on my card and used the bf’s card to get another pain reliever for free (they had tons of them at my store).

If you would like to see the deals for this week I visited SouthernSavers.com.

image Physician’s Formula was a great deal this week. My sister had B1G1 free coupons that she found on some Physician’s Formula products at Target and she combined them with the $7 CVS extracare bucks for a really great deal. In addition there was a $2 off of $10 beauty purchase coupon printing at the CVS red coupon machine that would also add to this deal.

image
The Physician’s Formula BB cream also had $3 off coupons attached which was also a great deal but we don’t use this so we didn’t buy it.

Note- Today is Saturday as I post this so this is the last day for these deals. However, CVS runs this Physician’s Formula sale frequently.

Save 20% at CVS This Week

image

On the cover of the CVS flyer that I got in my Sunday paper this week is a 20% off coupon good on all regularly priced items and it’s good for a week. This makes me wish I had waited to buy my new can opener so that I would have gotten 20% off.

4-8-13 CVS Shopping Trip

imageI stopped at CVS today to pick up some prescriptions and I decided to pick up a few things.

I used my coupons for FREE package of CVS store-brand Alcohol Prep Swabs- $2.59 value
They didn’t have the CVS brand but they were nice enough to give me this brand instead.

I also got Physicians Formula Concealer on Sale at CVS for .29¢.

The last thing I bought was this can opener which I believe was $12.99. Ours broke and we needed a new one. I wish that I had been e-mailed a CVS coupon for 20% off before I bought it but it expired yesterday. However, this was still a savings over all but the cheapest electric can openers (like the one that just broke) so I figured it was worth a try before we break down and buy an expensive one.
