I must apologize for the lack of updates lately. I started my Master’s degree full time and started teaching three college level classes at a University all in the same day. Since then the semester has been crazy and I just haven’t had a spare minute. I want to start posting regularly again ASAP. I was almost entirely out of face makeup and not going to be near my closest Ulta store this week. I really didn’t want to go out of my way but B was nice enough to volunteer to drive me. When I got there I was excited to find that Pür Minerals was B1G1 Free this week only at ULTA. That was very lucky! Last year I bought 4 but this year I bought six which hopefully will be enough for the whole year. Keep in mind there are no coupons for this makeup and it only goes on this one sale the entire year. When not on sale the makeup is $27 for one compact. If you have read anything on this blog you know that I am very careful with my money but I LOVE, LOVE this makeup. It’s 4 in 1: foundation, powder, SPF 15 and concealer. It also saves me a lot of time because I only have to apply one product instead of 4. So today I bought enough for the rest of the year saving myself $84 and several trips to the store.

I fell in love with this little decorated drawer set. It looks like a cabinet which I like but I do think that the drawers are more practical. And it was only $2.99! The pattern on the front is very in style right now so I think with a coat of paint (green maybe?) it would look like a really cool, expensive piece. I also bought this framed print for $1.99. Not sure where I’m going to put it yet.
These shadow boxes with inlaid clips were only $1.50 and $1.99 each and they will be great to display pictures and souvenirs from our travels.
Overall, a really fun trip! I also bought tons of clothes for .50 cents each but I will write about that later.
AT&T U-verse Anniversary Gift- Free $15 Visa Gift Card and a Movie

For our 2 year anniversary with At&t U-verse they sent us a Free $15 Visa Card and a Movie. We have to follow some steps online to redeem them but it’s still a nice gift. The idea is to get take out with the gift card and then a free movie through their service but we can use the gift card for anything we want.
Overall, we have been very happy with U-verse as a cable and internet provider. They are much cheaper than other service providers in the area and the deal we currently have gives us over 200 cable channels, HD channels, 2 cable boxes, and a free DVR for little more than we would be paying just for internet service. I know having cable is a frugal taboo but we often like to stay home instead of going out (aka spending even more money) so for the price of one dinner out per month this has been very worthwhile for us.

I saved a lot more than I expected to when I went to Walgreens yesterday to buy ONE 12 pack of toilet paper. We buy the Real Soft Walgreens brand because they are large rolls for $5 regular price for a 12 pack which is cheaper than anywhere else around here.
Currently Walgreens has them on sale for $3.99 and there is a $1 off coupon in the Walgreens monthly coupon books (the ones by the weekly ad, they always have them) that makes them $2.99 for a large 12 pack. The best part is all of the coupons you need are already in the store. I ended up buying all of our TP for the rest of the month because it was so cheap. We got 5 large 12 packs for $15. I may go back and buy some for next month too.
