P&G Pink Cookware / Kitchenware Set Free with $30 Purchase

EDIT: I have now done my shopping trip for this year’s Cook Set. Click below to see it!

My $2.47 Publix Deal for the Free P&G Cook Set

I’m very excited that P&G has once again decided to do their annual Pink Cookware Set deal! I have done this deal for the past two years and will do it again this year. All you have to do is purchase $30 worth of P&G products before coupons from 9/30/12 through 10/31/12 and mail away for it. The first two years after coupons I have only paid $2 or $3 for my $25-30 worth of P&G products and still qualified for the sets. Click HERE to go to their site for more information. You can go directly to the Publix mail in form HERE.

I use these items every single day in my kitchen. I LOVE these items and they are all high quality.

Check back because I will be coming up with a list of deals that will help to qualify you for the Cookware set. As I have said the first two years after coupons I have only paid $2 or $3 for my $25-30 worth of P&G products and still qualified for the sets. This year I hope to do the same.

This is my set from last year-

Recent Kohl’s Deals

Kohl’s recently sent me a free $10 gift card in the mail (in the photo on the left) and I found this 15% off coupon in their ad this week that came in the Sunday paper. I really needed a new pair of running shoes and I thought I would take a look. I found a pair of Nike running shoes on sale from $59.99 for $44. I used both coupons and they saved me about $16. Thankfully I had a couple of Kohl’s gift cards that covered the rest. I generally treat gift cards like cash. If I wouldn’t buy it if I didn’t have a gift card I wouldn’t buy it with a gift card. I have had the two Kohl’s gift cards for over a year each but I just didn’t need anything before now. I love my new running shoes and I  especially love that they didn’t cost me a cent. 🙂

P&G Rebate Card

A couple of months ago I discovered that I had already purchased some Pantene items that qualified me for a P&G $5 rebate. I have done P&G rebates before with great results. I was however, surprised today that I received my $5 rebate in the form of a VISA debit card instead of a check. While I would prefer cold, hard cash I think it’s actually really neat. I wonder if all of their future rebates will be debit cards.

My First Experience with Dollar Tree Couponing

It made my day when I heard that Dollar Tree was going to be taking coupons. Everything in the store is $1 and there have been many times that I have seen items in the store that I had coupons for. It took me a couple weeks to get there with my coupons and try it out. I looked up the deals that other people had found and gathered up the coupons in the above picture hoping to score some free stuff or great deals.

Unfortunately, because each Dollar Tree carries different items, they didn’t have any of the items I was looking for except one. I was able to get some free A&D cream for a friend but other than that I was out of luck. I will just have to visit another dollar tree or wait until I find my own deals at the dollar tree by my house. I’m not giving up but I guess couponing at dollar tree might not be as easy as I thought.

Check Your Mailbox for a Free V.S. Coupon

Check your mailbox for this flyer from Victoria Secret with a coupon for a free pair of underwear with no purchase necessary. If you aren’t on their mailing list you can call them and ask them to add you because they frequently send out coupons for free products.

Free Coupons with Free El Sentinel Subscription

If you live where you are able to receive an Orlando Sentinel subscription you should call or e-mail them to request a free subscription to the El Sentinel, the Spanish version of the paper. It is delivered on Saturday mornings and often contains most or all of the same coupon inserts as the regular Sunday paper. Sometimes it also contains an extra coupon insert, the Smart Source in Spanish, that usually has different coupons than the regular Smart Source. This is a great way to get a free paper and free coupons. It also usually contains the Parade magazine.

You can also click HERE to subscribe for free on their website.

9-12-12 Recent Free In the Mail

Here are the items that I have recently gotten for FREE in the mail. As you already know if you read this blog I LOVE FREE STUFF! When I see a free sample that I think I might like I take a minute and request it and then get them in the mail.

– A can of baby formula (in Spanish)

– A small bag of cat food

– Free Lucky Magazine

– Sample of Caffeine Pills

– Nescafe Drink Mixes

– A Protein bar

– A couple shampoo and conditioner samples (Great for the beach or traveling)

– Most of these also came with high value coupons 🙂

Why You Should Always Look at the Coupons in Your Magazines

My sister recently found a coupon for this free Clairol Professionals Item at Sally’s Beauty Salon in the September issue of Allure Magazine. We were next door at Target when we stopped in and snagged it for free. She didn’t even have to pay tax. It doesn’t expire until the end of October so if you get this magazine you should look for it. I hear it can also be found in the September InStyle Magazine.

Three Free at CVS

In the last week or two I was able to go to CVS and use my coupons for the Free CVS Sunscreen and also for a Free unreal bar (both coupons now expired). CVS frequently gives out coupons for free items and I always try to pick them up. I believe that, at least in my area, they do not charge tax on free items so that makes them a great place to pick up NEW items totally for free. I also was able to get a free CVS gift card for $25 when I picked up a prescription with a Walgreens competitor coupon. See Getting Free Gift Cards with Prescriptions.
