Friends of ours were having a yard sale and I went with the puppy to visit them. They weren’t that far from closing and packing up and they loaded my arms with clothes. I believe I gave them $3 that they tried not to take. Most of the clothes fit us and it was less for them to take to the thrift shop.
They also took the below sweater off of a teddy bear and put it on the puppy. Where’s Waldo anyone?

One of my favorite thrift hops is The Hope Chest Thrift Shop in Ovideo, Fl. They receive tons of lost and found items from Disney! Check them out HERE and they have great sales for different days of the week including half off certain days.

Want some extra boost for your budget this month? I earn about an extra $100 a month from Swagbucks!
If you haven’t tried Swagbucks before, you can get a bonus $3 for signing up as my referral in March. Swagbucks is a rewards site where you earn points (called SB) for things you’re probably doing online already, like searching, watching videos, discovering deals, and taking surveys. Then you take those points and exchange them for gift cards to places like Amazon, Starbucks, Walmart, Target, or PayPal cash.
When you sign up through me, you can earn an additional $3 bonus! Here’s how:
2. Earn 300 SB total before 4/1/18. You’ll get a $3 (300 SB) bonus for it!
3. If you want even more bonuses, you’ll get a $10 (1000 SB rebate) bonus for making your first shop purchase! That’s in addition to the SB you earn for every dollar you spend.
That’s it. It’s super easy, and Swagbucks is for real. I use it myself, and I’ve earned hundreds of dollars in Gift Cards and spend them on everything from thrifting to gifts.

On Monday, February 26th, Swagbucks is putting up over $10,000 that you can win playing fun trivia games! SwagIQ (available for iPhone and. Android) is a live, multiplayer trivia game show you play from your phone!
Each weekday, Swag IQ broadcasts a live game. Simply tune-in at the appointed time by launching the SwagIQ app and log-in with your Swagbucks account credentials. If you don’t have a Swagbucks account, you can sign up for one here and then download the app!
In celebration of Swagbucks’s 10th Birthday, they’re going to broadcast 4 shows throughout the day and give away at least $10,000! It will likely be more since the more people who sign-up via SwagIQ prior to each game, the bigger the grand prize!
1st Game Show: 1:00 PM Eastern Time/10:00 AM Pacific Time. Grand Prize: at least $1500.
2nd Game Show: 4:00 PM Eastern Time/1:00 PM Pacific Time. Grand Prize: at least $2000.
3rd Game Show: 7:00 PM Eastern Time/4:00 PM Pacific Time. Grand Prize: at least $2500
4th Game Show: 10:00 PM Eastern Time/7:00 PM Pacific Time. Grand Prize: at least $4000
To play SwagIQ, download the app to your iPhone and Android today.
It’s really easy to play, too:
The game show host will ask a series of multiple-choice trivia questions. You’ll have 10 seconds to answer each one. Get it right; you get SB and move on. Answer them all correctly and you can win a grand prize! If more than one player wins, the winners split the grand prize.
Get it wrong; still play along. Some questions have a bonus SB award attached to them. If you answer those questions correctly, you get those SB, even if you’re out of the running for the big money. And, if you’re in a groove but miss a question, you’ll have the option to rejoin a game by redeeming a few SB. When you get to the end of the game, you can claim all of the SB that you’ve earned.
You can use all the SB points you earn playing SwagIQ to get PayPal cash or gift cards to places like Amazon, Target, Starbucks, and more!

The puppy was a little confused by his new mini me but I found some good finds for cheap.
These trays were $1.50 each but still had the original Macy’s price stickers of $17.99.
I added to my set of these Corelle dishes but shattered the lid after making my first casserole.
I am always happy to find a Dave Ramsey book to sell or pass along. The robe above is Vera Bradley. The pink sweaters were for a hat sewing project for a march.
I snagged this Kenneth Cole rolling bag for $4. Thanks to built in obsolescence these bags no longer come with replaceable wheels so when the wheels are shot the bag can’t be repaired. I usually always have one I’m using and try to keep a spare for when it goes.
I also found another catchphrase portable console for work. And the BB8 was too cute to pass up.
I got some nice shirts, toys for Gimli and my 1 year old nephew and a book. The birds sing and move and are overall adorable.

I had fun thrifting in early Jan. Many people have time off in Dec to go through their houses or it might be a new year’s resolution.
I collect the above fish and was thrilled to find them for $2.99 each! They are highly collectable and sell well but I’m keeping them.
The above Play Station charger was cheap but unfortunately didn’t work.
Below are some winter clothes, a starbucks cup and some shelf expanders.
My mom asked me to get her a lighted makeup mirror ($3) and I have been searching for a second hand swifter ($2)since the refils are $1 at Dollar Tree.
I got the mirror for my mother for her purse, the ice cream maker was NIB for $10 and we have used it a lot since. The file dividers I am using to org the dish cabinets.

(The Puppy loves his repurposed bed, that I made from a thrifted poncho, and sitting in front of the space heater.)
