I’m really surprised by this offer from Swagbucks for Magazines from Magazine Outlet for $2 each for a year or more subscription and you get 50 Swagbucks each magazine you buy (up to 4). Most tempting to me is All You Magazine that often comes with high value coupons or coupons for free items! The catch is you have to remember to cancel the subscription or be automatically charged for a renewal at a much higher price I’m assuming. However, if you have a magazine you love enough it might be worth remembering to cancel. They also had A LOT of other great titles to choose from.

Last night I accidentally purchased an e-book through Amazon.com’s one click ordering. It only cost $5 and it came out of my gift card balance so I wasn’t too upset but I had been saving up to buy something and $5 is $5. I ended up calling them today and very quickly and easily they reimbursed the $5 to my account. Score! Minimum wage here is less than $8 an hour so the less than 5 mins of my time to make that phone call for $5 was definitely worth it.

Why I Print My Coupons Through Swagbucks

Many of you have probably heard about Swagbucks.com. It’s a search engine powered by google that allows users to earn points for searching and other activities and then redeem them for gift cards or other prizes. I personally have earned over $80 in Amazon.com gift cards.

I was very excited when they started allowing people to print their coupons.com coupons (the same coupons which can be found and printed on many sites) through their site and then earn 10 Swagbucks for each one you redeem. Those of you familiar with my site know that I use a lot of printable coupons so these Swagbucks add up quickly without me having to do anything I wasn’t already doing. In fact, it saves me time because their coupon interface is easier to use than the current coupons.com system which is hard to navigate. It does take a little while for the points to be added to your account but they are consistent about it. I look at it as just one more perk for using coupons.

Above is a picture of my rewards screen showing some of the gift cards I have won. In fact, this Christmas I was able to use them to get most of my Christmas gifts for free! I usually just earn points for searching, printing the coupons I was already going to print from coupons.com, and doing the daily poll. Every once in a while I will do other special offers. How to Get Free Stuff on Your Birthday!

I love the month of October for many reasons, but it also happens to be my birthday month! This year at at the beginning of the month I did something that I have always wanted to do. I signed up for all of our local restaurants e-mail/mail lists to see how much free stuff I could get. I made sure to do this a few weeks before my actual birthday to make sure I would be in their systems in time. I have been really surprised by all of the stuff I have gotten so far (I didn’t even print all of the deals for the picture above) and it isn’t even my birthday yet. Denny’s was the only one that had to be used on my actual birthday for most of these deals I had a week or two to use the coupons.

Note- It is considered VERY rude not to tip on the pre-coupon or pre-gift card total of your bill so please keep in mind that you will still have to tip even if your bill is zero, you are still taking up your server’s table, time and energy when you go out to eat and they have to make a living too.

I signed up for-

– Ruby Tuesday- A Coupon for a Free Burger and a B1G1 Free Coupon for joining

– I-Hop- A Free Birthday Meal and another free meal for joining, the waitress also told us that if I had a coupon and my boyfriend had a coupon (with different names on them) then we could use both of them at the same time but you may want to check with you I-Hop location first

– Denny’s- A Free Birthday Meal (Only on my actual birthday with ID, I don’t know if this was even a coupon or if you can just show up with your ID) and a 20% off the entire check coupon for joining

– Moe’s- Free Queso for joining and a free birthday meal

– Logan’s Roadhouse- A Free Small desert with purchase of an adult meal and a $5 off of a $20 purchase coupon

– Rita’s Italian Ice- A B1G1 Free Coupon for joining and a free italian ice for my bday

– Zaxby’s- They said they would be mailing me something but I haven’t gotten it yet

– Steak and Shake- Nothing yet

What I was already signed up for-

I’m very excited that I have once again earned enough Swagbucks to get 4 more FREE Amazon.com gift cards. As we all know, Amazon.com sells a little of everything so I’m looking forward to some FREE SHOPPING!

If you have never heard of Swagbucks.com, you earn points simply by searching on their site or even printing coupons!

My strategy is to try to do a few searches on their search engine in the morning and evening and usually I’ll win swagbucks from searching around twice a day just for doing normal searches. I also usually do their daily poll because I find it interesting and that earns 1 swagbuck. They also have lots of special offers that I only do if they interest me. For example, I’ll usually watch a video if they offer around 10 swagbucks. All of this is really easy to do and doesn’t usually take any extra time out of my day. If you have never heard of Swagbucks or are hesitant to try it I suggest you take a look at the four amazon.com gift cards in the picture below that I have won simply by searching on their site! In a nutshell swagbucks is a search engine but you randomly earn points for searching that can be redeemed for prizes and gift cards.

I don’t know yet what I’m going to buy but it will actually be shopping for free which is what Shopaholic Savers is all about!
