I was excited during my Publix shopping trip HERE that the four Pizzas I had already planned on purchasing qualified me for a free movie ticket. It says the ticket is for Iron Man 3 but I believe you can choose. I love getting something extra for free when I already planned on buying an item. So if you are planning to purchase any of these products you should look for the ones marked with the free tickets and try to get a free movie ticket. Going to the movies is expensive so I love getting tickets for free!

Having a Rag Bag used to be common in most households. People used them for dirty jobs instead of paper towels. I remember my Dad having one when I was a little girl. In our household, we don’t buy paper towels. We use reusable wash cloths and hand towels instead which we keep in a drawer in our kitchen and then throw into a kitchen hamper when we are done.
Lately, we have had some messier projects that I have wanted to use something to clean with that I could throw away or wash. I decided to raid our clothes donation pile for items that no one would really want and then cut them up into rags. I turned the items in the above laundry basket into the below pile of rags. It was easy to do while watching TV and now we have our own rag bag/box for cleaning. This was easy, free and fun. Even better, I still don’t have to buy paper towels and now I have less clothing to donate.

I love to keep bananas in the house. They are a cheap, easy, and healthy snack. However, they go bad quickly. To make them last longer I simply take the plastic shopping bag that they come in from the store and twist it closed. When I take a banana off of the bunch I re-close them in the bag. They last about a week longer than they would otherwise. I have no idea why this works but it does.
I saw a really cute, little, pet hammock at the Pet store and I thought that Benny (our pet rat) might like one. I didn’t want to buy one without trying to make one first. We have a lot of clothes that we don’t want, sitting in our garage, left over from our last yard sale so I picked out a sweater I thought might work. I cut it below the arms to remove the top and make a double layered square. Then I cut it in half at the seams to make it a single layer. If you use a thinner material you might want to leave two layers but this material was thick enough. Then I took four large paper clips and clipped it onto the top of the cage. And Voilà a free pet Hammock!
Benny wasn’t too sure about it at first. She liked the soft material but we did end up putting her house underneath it for more support. Now she likes to sit up there and chill.
